Two operators at a press brake; job sheets are pinned on the board above it.

Find where your plant loses money. Fix one thing first.

We walk your plant and find where time and money leak — in the paperwork, at the machines, on the shelves — then fix the biggest leak first, with our own tools or a vetted vendor’s. A person on your team approves every change.

  • Tested on your own data before you spend more.
  • Ourselves, or with a vendor or licensed installer we choose with you.
  • We come to your plant: Sacramento, the Bay Area, Napa and Sonoma, Reno.

Where the week goes

A press sits idle for an hour and nobody writes down why. An order comes in as a PDF, someone types it in, and a wrong part number shows up when the job is already cut. Scrap goes in the bin, not in the report. The system says 40 on hand; the shelf says 12. Each one is small. Together they’re your week.

What we do

From the office to the loading dock, one team for the whole plant. Every service starts small, on your own data, and ends with a written result.

  • Paperwork & data

Orders, quotes and ERP records without retyping, wrong part numbers or last year’s prices.

Example. Before: a faxed purchase order with a quantity changed by pen. After: a draft sales order in the ERP with 3 things flagged for a person to check before approving.

BeforeA faxed PO, a quantity changed in pen.WeWe read it and check it against your items and prices.AfterA draft order in your system. Your person approves.
    • Order entry

      from $3,000

Emails and PDFs become drafts in your system. Wrong part numbers and old prices are flagged.

      1–2 weeks

    • Quoting help

      from $3,000

A first-pass quote from the drawing and your past jobs, tested on your last 20 quotes.

      1–2 weeks

    • ERP data cleanup

      from $___

Duplicates, dead items and wrong prices found and fixed, with rules so they don’t come back.

      1–2 weeks

  • Machines & heavy equipment

Know why your machines stop. New equipment goes in with the right vendor and a licensed installer.

Example. Before: a paper downtime log with 5 stops and gaps. After: a weekly report of 27 stops by cause and shift, 8 h 18 min down in total.

BeforeA paper log with gaps.WeWe log every stop from the machine, by reason and shift.AfterWhere the hours go, on one page a week.
    • Machines & downtime

      from $4,000

Why your key machines stop, logged by reason and shift, on 2–3 machines first.

      2 weeksWith a vetted partner

  • Warehouse & stock

Stock numbers that match the shelf, at every site.

Example. Before: an inventory printout with pencil counts. After: a cycle count with the difference in dollars; 2 items need a recount before adjusting.

BeforeA printout and pencil counts.WeWe compare the count with the system, in dollars.AfterWhat to recount before anyone adjusts.
    • Warehouse & stock

      from $___

Counts you can trust across sites, locations and barcodes.

      With a vetted partner

  • The whole plant

Not sure where it leaks? We put every loss in dollars and tell you what to fix first.

Example. Before: handwritten notes from a walk through the plant. After: one page of losses in dollars, $3,150 a week, with the biggest marked to fix first.

    • Loss snapshot

      from $2,000

A day at your plant and a week of work: where you lose money, in dollars, and what to fix first.

Already running at a sheet metal plant

Two systems we built for a sheet metal manufacturer with plants in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. In each, the tool does the reading and matching; a manager makes the call.

A hand in a red glove lines up a sheet in a press brake.
  • Handwritten shift reports into production data

A manager photographs the paper report. AI reads it, matches each line to the catalog, and a person approves it.

3,720 SKUs in the catalog it matches against

  • Fuel control for a truck fleet

Fuel receipts, GPS mileage and dispatch loads in one place. Odd fill-ups are flagged with the reason.

3 data sources joined: receipts, telematics, dispatch

At your plant we start small, the same way: before you rely on anything, we test it on your own data — your last 20 orders, a week of stops on one machine, a sample count of your shelves.

How we work

Each step is priced before it starts and ends with a written result. After each one, you decide whether to go on.

  1. Free 20-minute call. You tell us where it hurts; we tell you honestly if we can help.
  2. Entry package, fixed price.A day at your plant, a working tool on your real documents or machines, and a one-page report.
  3. Pilot, paid in stages. One process or one line, with the number we’re aiming for agreed before we start.
  4. We stay for the hard first months. The same two people from the first call to month three.

What it takes from you: about 3 hours of your time.

One contact, whoever does the work

We don’t sell one brand. For each job we pick the tool that fits, or tell you a spreadsheet will do. When it needs a vendor or a licensed installer, we choose them with you, run the project and stay your one contact until it works.

Who does what on a shop-floor or warehouse job:

  • Us

Setup, data and training. We pick the tool with you, get your data in shape and teach your crew to use it.

  • The vendor

The system itself: the software, sensors or scanners, and support for them.

  • A licensed installer

    Any wiring and mounting.

What we promise

  • A person approves every draft.

Nothing reaches a customer or your ERP on its own.

  • No new ERP.

We work inside the systems you already have.

  • Your data stays yours.

In your files, exportable any time, no forced subscription.

  • We read your machines.

    We never write to them.

What it costs

You shouldn’t have to book a call to find out what we charge.

  1. First call Free20 minutes
  2. Entry package $2–8K1–2 weeks, fixed price
  3. Pilotfrom $15Kpaid in stages
  4. Ongoing support Monthlyif you want us to stay on after the pilot

Who we are

Two founders. Based near Sacramento. We answer the call, walk your floor and stay through the first months ourselves.

  • Founder — product

Builds the tools: order drafts, data cleanup and the reports you get.

  • Founder — projects

Runs the projects: the plan, the vendors and installers, and the call when something needs fixing.

Fair questions

Do we have to replace our ERP?

No. We work inside whatever you run now, from a full ERP to a set of spreadsheets. If the system itself needs reconfiguring, we bring in a certified partner for that system and run the job with them. We don’t sell ERPs and we don’t reinstall them.

Who checks what the tool drafts?

A person on your team, every time. The tool drafts an order or a quote; your person approves it, fixes it or throws it out. Nothing reaches a customer or your ERP until they do, and you keep a log of what was drafted and what your person changed.

Where do our documents and drawings go?

Before we start, we tell you in writing which tools touch your documents and where they run. Your drawings and customer data are used for your job only and stay in your files.

Will you touch our machine controls?

No. We read data from your machines: run time, stops, part counts. We never write to them or change a setting; your people keep running the machines the way they do now.

Do vendors pay you to recommend them?

No. You’re the only one who pays us. That way we can pick any vendor’s tool for the job, or tell you a spreadsheet will do.

What if you disappear tomorrow?

Everything we build lives in your files and your systems, written down so someone else can pick it up. Your data exports to plain files any time, and there is no subscription you’re locked into. We also train one of your people to run it day to day.

How much of our time does this take?

About 3 hours of the owner’s time for an entry package. Your team gives us access to the documents or the machines and answers our questions; we do the rest.

What does it cost, and when does it pay back?

The first call is free. An entry package costs $2–8K, a fixed price agreed before we start. A pilot costs from $15K and is paid in stages. The entry package ends with a report that puts the loss in dollars, so you can see whether it pays back before you spend more.

Is this about cutting jobs?

No. The point is to take retyping and number-chasing off your people’s plates, so the people you have can do the work only they can do.

What if you find nothing worth fixing?

Then you’ll hear it from us, in writing. The entry package has a fixed price and ends with a written result either way: what we checked, what we found and what we’d leave alone. If a spreadsheet fixes it, we’ll say so.

Why not just hire an engineer?

Sometimes you should, and we’ll tell you. An entry package costs about what a month of an engineer costs you, and it ends with a written answer on where the money goes. If what you need is a full-time person, the report shows what to hire for.
