Book a call

Know what’s on the shelf, at every site.

The system says 40 on hand; the shelf says 12. Stock lives in the ERP, a spreadsheet and someone’s head, the other site is a phone call away, and orders get promised against parts that aren’t there.

We get your stock numbers right across sites, give every item a place and a barcode, and set up counts that keep it right. If you need a warehouse system or scanners, we bring the vendor and run the project with them.

What we do

We fix the data you have before anyone buys anything.

  1. A day on siteWe see how stock moves in, out and between sites, and where the counts go wrong.
  2. Fix the stock dataWe compare what the ERP says with what’s on the shelves and fix items, units and locations.
  3. Locations and barcodesEvery item gets a place and a label, so receiving and picking use a scan instead of a note.
  4. Counts that stay rightShort counts of a few items on a schedule catch errors every week, not at year-end.

What you get

  • Stock numbers you can trust, per site, in your ERP.
  • A location and a barcode label for every item.
  • A count schedule your team can keep.
  • A report on where the counts went wrong and what fixed them.
  • If you need one, a warehouse system and scanners, picked with you and set up by their vendor.

How we check it

We count a sample of items on the shelf at each site and compare with the system, once before we start and again at the end.

  • How many items match the system, before and after.
  • Which of your last 20 orders were promised against stock that wasn’t there.

You see the match rate change in numbers, not in a demo.

Who does what

The data and the routine we fix ourselves. For a warehouse system or scanners, we bring the vendor and run the project with them. You get one contact and one plan.

Us

  • Clean the stock data and keep it tied to your ERP.
  • Set up locations, labels and counts with your team.
  • Pick a warehouse system and scanners with you, if you need them.
  • Run the project and stay your one contact.

The vendor

  • Supplies the warehouse system, scanners and label printers.
  • Often your ERP’s own partner.

A licensed installer

  • Mounts scanners and printers and runs any network cabling, under a California contractor license.

What we need from you

Read access to your stock data, time on each site’s floor and a few hours from the people who know where things are.

Access

  • Your ERP stock data, read-only to start.
  • Time on each site’s floor, with someone who knows where things are.

Files

  • Your item list and stock by site.
  • Your last 20 orders.

Your people’s time

  • Owner or ops manager: about 1 hour to start and 1 hour for the results.
  • Warehouse lead at each site: __ hours for the counts.

Questions owners ask

Do we need a warehouse system?

Not always. Many plants get most of the way with clean data, labels and regular counts in the ERP they already have. If you need a system, we’ll show you why.

Which systems do you work with?

[Заглушка: ждём исследование T-13 — какие складские системы и ERP стоят у небольших заводов региона и кто их ставит.]

Will we have to stop shipping for a count?

No. Counts cover a few items at a time and are planned around your shipping.

Can you forecast what to reorder?

Once the counts are right, yes: from your own sales and lead times. Not before. A forecast built on wrong counts is wrong too.

Tell us where your counts go wrong.

20 minutes, no pitch deck. Tell us how many sites you run and how stock is tracked now, and we’ll tell you where we’d start.

We come to your plant: Sacramento, the Bay Area, Napa and Sonoma, Reno.
