Who we are
This website is run by [company legal name] ("Deftwork", "we", "us"), [mailing address], California. We help small manufacturers with paperwork, data, machines and warehouses.

What we collect
When you send the form on our booking page:
- your name, email and message;
- your company and phone number, if you add them;
- the time the form was opened, to filter out automated spam.
When you book a call through our calendar: your name, email, the time you pick and anything you type into the booking form.
When you visit any page: the technical details every browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. Our hosting provider keeps these in short-lived server logs to run and protect the site.

Why we use it
- to reply to you and arrange the call;
- to prepare a proposal, if you ask for one;
- to keep a simple record of who contacted us and what we agreed;
- to keep the site and the form working and free of spam.
We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't use your details for advertising.
Where it is kept
Form messages arrive by email to the founders and are added to our lead log. [Email provider and lead log, named at launch.] Calendar bookings are kept by our scheduling service. These providers store the data for us and may not use it for their own purposes.

Only the service providers that run our email, calendar, hosting and lead log, and only so they can do that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your rights, including in California
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives California residents the right to know what personal information a business holds about them, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of. We don't treat you differently for using these rights.
Whether or not the law requires it of a company our size, we honor these requests from anyone.
How to ask us to delete your data
Email [privacy email] from the address you used with us, with "Delete my data" in the subject. We confirm within [10 business days] and complete the request within 45 days. If you write from another address, we may ask a question to confirm it's you. Requests to see or correct your data work the same way.
If you become a client
The documents, drawings, orders and machine data you share with us for a project are not covered by this notice. A separate written agreement with you sets how we handle, store and return or delete them.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the effective date at the top. If a change affects information you already gave us, we tell you by email first.
